WEEKLY REFLECTION

Meditation involves expansion and contraction all of the time.  We might find ourselves in moments of precise concentration alternated with periods lost in thought, fantasy, or re-hashing past conversations with people.  Our sense of “now” can be hijacked by ruminating on the past or anticipating the future.  That’s not necessarily a problem, but we might ask ourselves: Is my time spent more in thought or simple  awareness of my presence?
